How to change(correct) NAME/ SURNAME in SLC/SEE CERTIFICATE ? {NEPAL}

Is there a mistake in your SLC /SEE Marksheet /Certificate (Nepal)?

Don't Worry!
You can correct it.


Here is what you need to do:-

→ Since, SLC /SEE are mostly distributed by the school from where you had given SLC/SEE, if any mistakes or corrections in  these important documents should be reported  to either the Principal or the concerned person in the school. Your school will do all the necessary things or may tell you.

But after along time if you want to correct your SLC/SEE certificates, do not worry it can be done.

→You need to have all the documents related to SLC/SEE
          {Registration slip, Admit Card, Marksheet & Certificate}
If you don't have registration slip, you can still do the correction. But if you don't have ADMIT CARD , it will be hard to do corrections


→ SLC/ SEE Marksheets are issued by Office of Examination Controller (before 2073) and by National Examination Board, so to correct you need to go there.

Plus for those who have given only  SEE from Kathmandu , you can correct it from  National Examination Board Office in Sinamangal, Kathmandu.

For Mistake in Date Of Birth/ NAME/ SURNAME :-

Required Documents

1. Recommendation letter from National Abhilekhalaya (is in the Building of the OFFICE)

2. Application letter from Office of Examination Controller

3. SLC Marksheet / Admit Card/ Registration Slip

4. Recommendation letter from School.

5. Nagrikta/ Birth Certificate photocopy

6. Your photos.

7.Your application relating to the same subject

8. Marksheet of class 9 or higher than SLC(optional)
9. Photocopies
10. Corrected copy of character certificate/ SLC marksheet.

Cost/Time

Cost: Rs. 1000/- (for reprinting )         & Rs. 200/- (for niwedan /application)

Time: After paying Rs. 1200, they will provide the schedule to be present there and get the corrected certificate. Usually after 1 week.

Process

Write the application regarding the concerned matter to the Rastriya Abhilekha.

Submit the application to Office of Examination Controller.

Additional Information

It is advised to keep your admit card with you and provide a photocopy of it if required. Do not give your admit card.
Also, scan all your documents even of the application given by the school or DEO. 

If you have done mistake in writing your date of birth in your SLC Admit Card (You know your actual date of birth but did mistake while writing), for correction you have to go to Office of Examination Controller, Sanothimi within 6 months. If the correction is not done within 6 months, then you have to submit an application to Office of District Administration,and prove that person holding the correct date of birth and incorrect date of birth is actually a same person.
